Procurement has a critical input into the growth this organisation is planning so successful appointment of this position is imperative, and at the same time an excellent opportunity for you

**The Opportunity**

With guidance from the Director of Product, Ralf Huempel, you will be working as the Procurement Manager for OJC. Your role and input to the organisation is paramount to the day-to-day delivery and supply chain surety of key raw materials, their cost and risk reduction/mitigation to support the success of the organisation. You will be given autonomy to strategically develop and lead the procurement function which includes managing 3 key employees who are responsible for 3 individual categories within the business. Citrus Fruits, Apples & Vegetables and Replenishment which includes bottling, packaging, chemicals, cleaning etc. As Procurement Manager you will have responsibility for the procurement function and will be involved in all 3 categories on a day-to-day basis as support to the Procurement Coordinators. Your role will also be imperative in strategically and analytically planning at a higher level to ensure predictability and reliability of key raw materials, with a focus on Oranges. As well as implementing a sustainable cost control and reduction programme whilst forming lasting partnerships with suppliers. And implementing mitigation plans to ensure risk of supply is reduced and in turn guarantee uninterrupted supply. **Skills and Experience Required**
- High analytical skills with the ability to manage reports on Excel.
- Strong commercial understanding with proven negotiation skills.
- Ideally from an agricultural procurement background with the ability to monitor key commodity trends.
- Experience of managing and implementing a thorough contract management database.
- Industry relevant qualifications (MCIPS, Degree, etc.)
