**Description**: **Who is Harbison?** Harbison is a not-for-profit organisation owned by the community of the Southern Highlands. Harbison was founded by a group of volunteers in the late 1950s to provide local, independent, high-quality care and accommodation for the aged and disabled in the Southern Highlands and surrounding areas. Today we provide general and specialised care across a range of settings and are one of the largest employers in the Southern Highlands. We exist to support and nurture older individuals to maintain meaning and purpose in their unique lives. **What is the Role?** Seeking an administration superstar that can support the day-to-day clinical administration functions to ensure business operations run smoothly. **You will be responsible for**: - Developing and maintaining ongoing and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to residents and their families, nursing and care staff, allied health professionals and medical practitioners. - Scheduling appointments for all consumers including but not limited to; transport, allied health appointments, case conferences, administering documentation to doctors etc. - Providing administrative support to the clinical services team. - Liaising with doctors and nursing staff for geriatrician referrals. - Contacting pathology to book appointments and organise collections. - Responding to general enquiries, including providing support to the Admissions team by responding to general enquiries relating to admissions, including ensuring room readiness for admissions. - Mitigating short notice staff coverage and undertaking general rostering duties. - Regular minute taking & distribution of required meetings. **What are we looking for?** - Proven administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite & Outlook - Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing demands. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision. - Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information. - Strong relationship-building skills and customer/client-centric approach. - Ideally, you have experience in the Aged Care sector, however, this is not essential.
