Manage a personal and regional revenue target
- Generating sales leads, assessing customer needs and closing the sale
- Working through a list of contacts to promote the organization’s products and services with the aim of generating new sales.
- Arranging & processing of goods/services.
- Entering changes to contact details in the database and detailing the requirements for follow-up calls with customers.
- Collecting market intelligence from customer contacts during sales calls.
- Generating statistics on the sales velocity (ie; how long it takes to close a sale)

The scope of this role is to manage client expectations with the objective of exceeding monthly sales revenue targets. In addition, the role encompasses:

- Building and maintain meaningful relationships with new and existing clients at multiple levels
- Manage client expectations effectively.
- Negotiate with senior business professionals.
- Build relationships with internal CCH stakeholders such as departmental managers, new product development and editorial colleagues.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal CCH service providers to ensure high quality customer service and support for clients.
- Achieve or exceed set monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets through focus on pipeline opportunities of sufficient size and complexity to consistently deliver sales targets.
- Develop individual customer account plans where appropriate with strategies to achieve positive revenue growth outcomes.
- Keep abreast of product developments within CCH and be familiar with the functionality of all new product software for both CCH and competitive offerings.
- Feedback opportunities for new product development or service improvements as identified with customers promptly and in line with new product development processes
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of customer contact i.e. preparation for appointments and conduct of negotiation.
- Maintain and develop effective relationships with clients
- Maintain internal customer databases (CRM) such as Salesforce to ensure comprehensive and accurate customer, appointment and campaign data exists on our customer records.
- Utilize the training courses that are a compulsory component of professional development within CCH and any other additional programs that will assist your further development.
- Participate actively and enthusiastically in your ongoing Performance Review process and implement action plans agreed by you and your Manager.
