The roleLead and coordinate business services across a diverse range of corporate services functions, by providing strategic and contemporary advice on a range of business management matters. Key responsibilities include:

- Liaise, negotiate and assist executives and senior managers in the coordination, planning, monitoring and reporting/reviewing of the budget.
- Investigate and drive the resolution of complex issues, providing support, evaluating policies and implementing best practices.
- Lead, influence and manage a business services team (including performance appraisal and development of staff).
- Coordinate reporting requirements on a range of financial and human resource management activities.
- Support senior staff with researching, developing, implementing and evaluating business services, policies and work practices.

**The successful personYou will have demonstrated**:

- high level skills and extensive knowledge of financial management processes utilised within a public sector organisation.
- high level expertise in the use of information technology and financial systems, together with experience in the research, review, interpretation and analysis of information to formulate recommendations and reports to management.
- high level experience with continuous improvement programs and initiatives and demonstrated ability to work within and contribute significantly towards successful teams.
- ability to supervise and lead an business team, and manage staff in line with quality human resource management practices.
