The roleThe Business Manager is responsible for leading and managing business services across a diverse range of corporate services functions, by providing strategic and contemporary leadership on a range of business management matters. Key responsibilities include:

- Prepare and review high level reporting and correspondence for senior and executive staff on financial, compliance, human resources and emerging issues
- Provide expert, strategic and timely advice on a broad range of executive, corporate service and business management matters
- Manage and maintain strong, positive relationships utilising highly developed communication skills when liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective outcomes are achieved
- Oversee the management of end-to-end processes of the annual budget, month end reconciliation, financial assurance and controls, reporting deliverables and responsibilities within the division
- Lead and direct members of the business services team, delivering efficient and effective business services, enabling strategic and operational objectives

- Demonstrated experience in successful leading, managing and developing a diverse team within a high-pressure environment
- Demonstrated high level consultative, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and interpret issues and develop quality strategies to resolve complex matters
