**This is the role and main tasks** The Sales Development Representative at Stibo Systems is not your typical "SDR" role. The team we are building is not only responsible for qualifying leads and building pipeline, but also much more than that. This position will report to the Team Lead, EMEA & APJ Sales Development and will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. You will be focused on supporting the growth of our four key verticals (retail, distribution, manufacturing, and CPG) to work Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and profile key accounts through to Sales Accepted Leads (SAL). More specifically, you will: - Cover the Australian market where you will drive and successfully execute sales and business development activities that result in lead generation and opportunity creation within net new prospects and customers. You may also cover other markets in the APJ region. - This role is mainly outbound-focused. You will define an outbound prospecting strategy which helps you identify and target the right prospects, craft personalised and effective outreach, and track and measure the success of your efforts. - Work closely with your Sales partners to drive opportunities within target accounts. - Profile existing accounts looking for cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Account Managers. - Collaborate with regional partners to support sales efforts and calling days. - Target attainment is a monthly number of opportunities created and quarterly MBO’s (Management by Objectives). **This is your Team** - Within the Demand Generation organisation, Your global team will be 10+ SDRs members located across the global, all with unique challenges and views of the market. The team members vary in experience from graduates up to seasoned pros. - Your local team will be mainly seasoned sales people. **Who we are looking for** Are you a person who thrives on targets, individual achievement while working in a creative team? **Moreover, we are looking for**: - 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Sales Development Representative or similar. - Highly motivated to achieve and grow. - Worked with in the IT sector. - Creativity: Bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table. - Highly Motivated: Possess a strong drive for excellence and taking on new challenges. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Flexibility and Adaptability: Embrace change and adjust to evolving priorities. - Time Management Skills: Effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Goal Oriented: Driven by results and committed to achieving objectives. - Competitive and Results-Driven: Thrive in a competitive environment. - Pro-active: Anticipate challenges and take initiative to find solutions. - Team Player: Collaborate effectively and foster a supportive work environment. - Autonomous: this a remote position.
