Adelaide PHN is seeking an experienced project officer to join our Integration team to support the Strengthening Medicare Grants Program.

**The Role**
The Primary Care Project Officer (PCPO) will coordinate and support the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Strengthening Medicare Grants Program, which aims to support Medicare General Practices and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in the Adelaide Region to make improvements to their practices and to expand patient access and provide better, safe accessible quality care.
In this role you will primarily:

- Coordinate the delivery of Strengthening Medicare - General Practice (GP) grants funding, to support the expansion of patient access and provide better, safe and accessible quality primary care
- Collaborate with the Department to support the Strengthening Medicare - GP grants funding evaluation and compliance activities;
- Support the planning, implementation and evaluation of other Adelaide PHN primary care projects and quality improvement initiatives.

**About You**
To be successful in this role you’ll need:

- Demonstrated ability and skills in project coordination, including project planning, execution (e.g. management of outputs and outcome) and project management methodologies.
- Strategic, analytical, problem solving and planning skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders (internal and external).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships and create harmonious working relationships.
- High-level information technology skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a like role within health or a not for profit setting where you have been responsible for creating and overseeing project plans / schedules, meeting deadlines and producing complex project reports.
