Automation Test Engineer

This role requires hands-on experience in software development (strong experience in at least one of the listed languages
- JavaScript, Java, C#, Python) and end to end automation testing experience.

**Key accountabilities of the role**:
As a Test Automation Engineer (APS6 level), your responsibilities will include the following:

- A high degree of demonstrated technical and leadership capabilities and experience
- Work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to develop a strong understanding of the systems and testing objectives
- Analyse, Design, create, execute, manual and automated tests both for the sprint as well as regression testing
- Ability to collaborate with developers to build test infrastructure
- Carry out exploratory testing within an Agile environment

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be suitable as a Senior Test Automation Engineer (APS6 level), you should be able to demonstrate the following:

- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in software development (strong experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, C#, Python). Must be currently scripting test automation rather than in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrable experience in component, integration and system testing
- Strong experience in development and design of automation frameworks
- API Testing and automation using mainstream test automation platforms and products, ranging from scripted solutions to low/no code capabilities
- Experience in source control systems
- Experience in browser automation using mainstream test automation platforms and products e.g. Selenium
- Experience with TDD & BDD tools such as cucumber
