The Quality Release Officer is responsible for full audit of the electronic and paper-based Batch Manufacturing and Packaging documents and rapid release for packing of products manufactured and/or packed at Carole Park along with associated administrative duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- To audit executed electronic and paper-based batch manufacturing and packaging documents in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and release bulk materials in SAP for packing as per the rapid release procedure
- Communicate effectively and provide status updates of current workloads to other department managers
- Support and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for the benefit of the Quality department and the wider business
- Ensure activities comply with GMP, legal and ethical standards
- Plan, monitor and achieve goals within set time frames
- Provide, build and maintain consistent, reliable and accurate customer service
- Present a professional image
- Perform other duties as required by management
- Communicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiatives

Job Requirements:

- Ability to build rapport, establish and maintain relationships with peers, business contacts and corporate management
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines and targets with competing and conflicting priorities
- Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to comply with GxP
- Demonstrated attention to detail and extensive technical knowledge and ability is essential in this role
- Sound judgement and decision making skills
- Understanding of GMP requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in a scientific field
