About the role
The HIM Lead - Release of Information provides strategic and operational management, advice and support to the Release of Information (ROI) Unit, West Moreton Health (WMH) and release of information support for WMH rural facilities.
About you
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with health professionals, government agencies and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical problem solving and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and organise work.
- High level knowledge in Health Information Management practices and the ability to implement and maintain quality management strategies, including ability to maintain accreditation standards.
- Ability to analyse and utilise strong decision-making skills, including the ability to identify and resolve problems and issues in relation to the management of release of information, confidentiality, and privacy.
- Ability to actively participate in a working environment by leading and supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
