The Ipswich State High School has a number of signature programs that have been developed over time that makes us a choice of schooling in Ipswich and the surrounding areas. Designated DoE Programs of Excellence allow enrolments from outside of catchment (STEM, Dance, Rugby League, Hair and Beauty and Construction and Horticulture).The school is also a Mature Age School allowing older students to complete their schooling; 30% of the students identifying as being either Aboriginal or Torres Strait, or Maori or Pacific Islander background, with more than 10% being born overseas. There is an increasing number of refugee enrolments that are provided with tailored EALD support. The school is an accredited International Student Program School and regularly hosts both long-term student exchanges and short-term study tours.ISHS adopted Five Minds for the Future as the basis for its Curriculum Framework almost eight years ago, and while this philosophy is still embedded throughout all teaching and learning at this school, we have gradually transitioned our language and visual prompts to the Zones of Behaviour which can be found on a poster in all classrooms, offices and staffrooms, as well as in the student diary.

Your Role
- Teach both Junior and Senior IT- Applied Information Communication Technology Certificate II in Applied Digital Technology.
- To connect and maintain good staff and student relationships.

- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
