Dual Role of Customer Service Officer

**Description**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Dual Role in Customer Services and Factory Operations to join our team in Ballarat at our brand-new site, reporting to the Trade Service Centre Manager. You will be exposed to various sites and responsibilities to ensure no two days are the same.

As a key member of the team, you will thrive in an environment where service, sales and customer solutions are paramount. This role will see you as the face of our company and enjoying being part of the local community. Your day will be varied as you will be involved in sales and enquiries, merchandising, liaising with customers, preparing loads, loading trucks and performing various warehouse duties.

Providing excellence in customer service and the customer journey
Welcome new and existing customers into our showrooms
Actively promoting Ausreo’s products to generate sales
Merchandising and Stock Replenishment
Process sale orders, generate quotations, engage with e-commerce and social media
Stock control in the warehouse
Coordinating logistics i.e. transport and deliveries
Operation of overhead crane to load and unload customer vehicles
Operation of Cutter and Bender to process Bar
Pick and pack Orders as required
Effectively communicating with all stakeholders and dealing with difficult customers effectively
General administration and warehouse duties

To Be Successful

Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience in a retail, hardware, warehousing, trade type environment will be highly regarded, steel industry experience will be highly regarded but not essential
Face to face selling and entrepreneurial spirit
Highly organised, great at multi-tasking and strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
Thrives in a team environment but can also work independently
Ability to work under pressure
Forklift license is preferred
Driver’s license essential
Available to work Monday-Friday 6.30am-4.30pm

Training will be provided for crane operations.
