Coffee Roaster

**Sample roaster & Admin coordinator**

We are looking for a QC/Sample Roaster and admin coordinator with a **positive** and **energetic** personality who is looking to further develop their skills in a fast-moving environment.

We have been in the coffee business for over 8 years in Australia. We have operations across the country allowing us to be flexible and efficient in our supply chain. Our Know-how of the Colombian market has empowered us to become leaders in the Specialty coffee market in Australia and beyond.

**About the role (QC )**
- Organise coffee samples as requested by the sales team.
- Roast and pack samples in an efficient way
- Stock control of all samples
- Maintain a clean work space.
- Prepare and organise cupping sessions.
- General cleaning and maintenance of the roasters.
- Quality Control of upcoming coffees (Data entry)
- Feed CRM system with requested tasks.
- Ensure samples are being sent in a timely manner.
- Be an effective advocate for the business.
- Support other business activities.

**About you**
- Barista (+ 5 years of experience serving Specialty coffee) or roaster (+ 1 year)
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Inventory management skills
- Passionate about coffee
- Enthusiastic and Self - motivated
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Enthusiastic to learn
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good team player
- Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident only

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $21.22 - $35.13 per hour

- Shift work

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Marrickville, NSW 2204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Barista: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English fluently (required)
