Our Company Marrickville Coffee Roasters runs two cafes in Marrickville, Side Story (313 Marrickville Road, Marrickville, NSW - 2204) and Basiq Café (106 Addison Road, Marrickville, NSW - 2204).

At Side Story, based in Marrickville, NSW, we are seeking an enthusiastic Cafe Manager to lead our team. We believe in creating experiences that resonate with our guests, and we're excited to welcome a new member to our leadership team who shares this vision If you have a flair for management and a passion for cafe culture, we'd love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing daily cafe operations for both premises
- Collaborate with our talented chefs to plan creative menus, organize and execute catering.
- Managing staff schedules and training new employees.
- Organize special functions, ensuring each event is memorable and smoothly run.
- Inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Financial management including budgeting and cash handling.
- Ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
- May include taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting in order taking, ensuring a personalized customer experience.
- Upholding hygiene and safety standards.

**Other Requirements**:

- Experience: At least 2 years in a management role.
- Qualification: AQF Associate degree, Advance Diploma or Diploma.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
- License/Certification: Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Work rights in Australia: Must be legally authorised to work in Australia.
- Other Requirements: Must be able to relocate before starting work.
