Real Dairy Australia (RDA) is an Australian owned cheese processing and packaging business with locations in NSW and Victoria with the head office located in Greenacre. RDA is a world class supplier of dairy based products, services and solutions to the retail, foodservice and food ingredients markets. With the opening of our new state of the art cheese processing and packaging factory at Greenacre we have a number of permanent opportunities for skilled production workers, machine operators and supervisors.

**Various Roles are Available**:

- Line Supervisors (previous food manufacturing experience desirable)
- Team Leaders
- Machine Operators
- Process workers
- Warehouse and dispatch supervisors
- Transport Allocator

**Duties & responsibilities** **for team leaders and machine operators**
- Must be able to read and follow work direction.
- You will operate various types of machines and lines including packing lines.
- Some experience with flexible packaging material (Vertical Form fill seal and Horizontal form fill seal / Multi head / Flow wrapperetc)
- Set up machine in accordance with job instructions and specifications with attention to pre-start safety check
- Good mechanical aptitude and a “can do” attitude
- Excellent Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Electric pallet jack/walkie stackers experience
- Strong ability to multitask and to be able to foresee problems.
- Record production data such as product output and quality according to standard operating procedure
- Conducting different checks i.e. weights checks, temperature checks, metal detector checks
- Raw material preparation
- Wrapping, Packing, Palletising and Labelling of finished goods
- Be able to work to a schedule, with time management of tasks a priority.
- You should be able to work independently, in a safety and quality conscious manner, within a small team.
- A good understanding of GMP and HACCP requirements is essential.
- Ensure adherence to occupational Health and safety

**Your experience**
- Previous experience working in FMCG / Food environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Passionate about process improvements
- Basic computer literacy would be well regarded.
- Supervisory experience in a similar role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
