**Real Dairy Australia (RDA)** is an Australian owned business with locations and manufacturing facilities throughout Australia (Queensland, NSW, Victoria) with the head office located at Greenacre. RDA is a world class supplier of dairy-based products, services and solutions to the retail, foodservice and food ingredients markets.

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our business as the **Production Planner, **someone who is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them, organised and results-driven with great problem-solving skills, advanced communication, and computer skills with the goal to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations. We have opened a new state of the art manufacturing and packaging facility at Greenacre and the Production Planner will be a key part of its success.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the Snr. Production Planner you will work closely with site managers, production, procurement and the sales team to;
- Create weekly detailed production schedules
- Monitor progress of production to schedule and modify schedules as required
- Create medium term master production schedule to ensure appropriate future material and resource availability and overseeing planning at our other locations
- Negotiate with production managers and maintenance teams to ensure that other site activities will not impact the agreed production schedules
- Implement new processes and further improve current planning practices to deliver our stretched service and inventory targets

- New Production implementation
- Process improvement
- Communication between departments
- Stakeholder engagement

**The Person**:

- To succeed, you'll have a solid Production Planning background in an FMCG environment (ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment) and tertiary qualifications relevant to supply chain or manufacturing systems will be highly regarded
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills
- You’ll already have what it takes to manage data, putting your analytical skills to use, whilst also refining and improving our processes.
- The right person must be thorough and detailed, with a high level of relationship building and influencing skills.
- With your keen eye for detail and process improvement mindset, you’ll be able to spot growth opportunities and proactively manage risks
- Flexible approach to work with the ability to solve problems in a time pressured environment and reorganise work plans to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong leadership skills, with sense of urgency and decisiveness
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong interpersonal and planning skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
