To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the below:
You need these essential qualifications (or experience), knowledge and skills to carry out this position.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in infrastructure, facilities management, early years planning or a related field.

Key responsibilities include:

- The officer will provide oversight of maintenance schedules, building audits, and compliance with legislative and licensing standards. They will lead coordination between internal Council departments - including infrastructure, property, and capital works - and external stakeholders such as the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), Department of Education, and kindergarten service providers.
- The officer must collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and drive initiatives that position Greater Dandenong as a leader in providing fit-for-purpose early years environments.

You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
