**About the West Region Delivery Team**

The West Region Delivery Team (WRDT) consortium comprises of Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure and Fulton Hogan for construction, Programmed for maintenance and facility management, Stantec and Atlas for design and engineering.

The West Region Delivery Team is integrated with Sydney Water under a collaborative contracting framework, Partnering for Success (P4S). The West Region Delivery Team are engaged to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facility management services for the ten (10) year program across Sydney Water’s wastewater, water and recycled water systems. Our work program of work looks after Sydney Water’s assets across the Greater Western Sydney region that extends from Sydney’s Inner West suburbs out to the Blue Mountains, down to Bargo in the South West and includes the Western Sydney Growth Area and part of the North West Growth Centre.

**About the opportunity**

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Community and Stakeholder Advisor to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with the community, landowners, local councils, and other key stakeholders. In this dynamic role, you will work across multiple projects, contributing to the success of one of Sydney’s most significant infrastructure programs. Day to day you will;
- Develop and implement community and stakeholder engagement plans that foster strong relationships with local communities, councils, and landowners.
- Prepare and distribute various communications materials, including community notices, project updates, and engagement collateral.
- Collaborate with project teams to support stakeholder engagement activities, from on-site visits to community events and information sessions.
- Monitor stakeholder feedback and manage responses, escalating issues as needed to ensure prompt resolution.
- Support project communication initiatives by identifying and sharing positive news stories highlighting WRDT achievements.
- Record and manage stakeholder interactions,
- Participate in team meetings, project planning sessions, and other engagement activities to ensure alignment on community and stakeholder initiatives.

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Relevant qualifications in communications, community engagement, or a related field, along with experience as a Community and Stakeholder Advisor within construction, infrastructure, or related sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for various audiences.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts in a proactive and empathetic manner.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a strong commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
- A “C” class driver’s license.
