**Your new role**:
As a member of a HR team of 5 (including payroll), you will deliver advice and support to people managers and employees in the APAC region on a range of Human Resources disciplines and initiatives including talent acquisition, performance management and building people capability across the business.

This is a **12-month parental leave cover**based in our Sydney office. This role offers growth opportunities, where the position balances operational HR tasks with HR advisory responsibilities while working closely with the payroll team.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- End to end talent acquisition from vacancy approval through to advertising, employment agreement issue, orientation, on-boarding and probation management
- Manage the separation process including exit interviews
- Work with and coach people managers to resolve performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Support the business on employee relations
- Manage the administration area of workers’ compensation and return to work coordinator
- Contribute to global people capability projects
- Deliver HR projects which might include the annual salary review, new or updated policies and the staff review process
- Scope to contribute in relation to HR matters from overseas entities

**What we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will already have prior experience in a similar role together with:

- 3 to 4 years generalist HR experience
- Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, Australian employment legislation and modern awards
- Proven organisational and prioritising abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and sound decision-making skills
