Bakers Delight Cheltenham is looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused sales assistant to join our friendly team.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Excellent customer service
- Till operation and cash handling
- Shop merchandising
- Product knowledge and sales skills
- An ability to communicate well with people of different backgrounds
- Efficient processing of customer transactions
- Effective team work and an ability to work unsupervised when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8-16 per week

**Salary**: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
Wearing of face masks is required and social distancing/limited numbers in the shop.
Safe sanitizing practices also in place.
We are an essential service so have remained open during lockdowns.

**Experience**:

- working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- retail: 1 year (preferred)
- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
