The Commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia’s anti-dumping legislation. The Commission operates as a best practice regulatory authority using risk-based, data-driven and transparent methodologies; engaging closely with stakeholders and users of the system; and driving continuous improvement in its practices and processes. We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a team of passionate and committed professionals. We are looking for motivated and skilled investigators and analysts who have:

- skills or qualifications in one of the following fields: international trade, regulatory compliance, auditing, commercial investigations, business, commerce, law, accounting or economics
- an ability to think critically, laterally and with an enquiring mind
- research, administrative and analytical skills with an aptitude for numerical and financial data

**What you will do**:
You will work within multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to anti-dumping and countervailing investigations, ensuring consistency with legislative frameworks and Australia’s World Trade Organization obligations.

You will work collaboratively with fellow investigators, together with legal, policy and quality assurance team members to analyse and solve complex issues as they arise in a case. You will support the delivery of high quality and defensible decisions. There is a high degree of direct Australian and international industry engagement, including opportunities for domestic and international travel. You will be supported by a comprehensive training and induction program to help ensure you succeed in the role.

EL1 Case Manager:
Reporting to a Case Director (EL2), you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to lead anti-dumping and countervailing investigations, reviews and inquiries. This work must be consistent with legislative frameworks and Australia’s World Trade Organization obligations. You will lead and mentor a team while modelling effective collaboration across the Commission. Specifically, you will:

- oversee verifications of financial data from domestic and international companies, dealing effectively with sensitive trade, business and industry information
- take ownership of preparing and reviewing reports containing complex financial and economic analysis, high level briefs and correspondence and advice to the Commissioner and the Minister
- liaise directly with domestic and international stakeholders
