The successful applicant will be required to take an active role in managing and coordinating works across the Sydney Metropolitan Area, as well as directly communicating with our site crews. This position also involves client, subcontractor, and supplier liaison and the preparation of documentation required for our civil works.
**Key Tasks/Responsibilities**:
- Order processing and allocation of concrete trucks as required
- Understand and enforce Chain of Responsibility obligations
- Communicate effectively with batch plants and customers.
- Manage customer enquiries, orders, and complaints correctly.
- Ability to interpret drawings/ plans and complete quantity take offs for tenders, contract variations and coordination of works on site
- Be highly analytical with strong attention to detail
- Organized with good Time-Management Skills
- Experience in producing short term programs
- Liaise and solve any issues which may arise with the Site Supervisors (delays, planning, deliveries, resources, variations)
- Make orders from approved suppliers for common materials (e.g. concrete, road base, sand, etc)
- **_Experience in Civil Construction Coordination and/or Delivery (extremely desirable)_**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Reliable with a positive can do attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight, often competing deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience in Civil Construction
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be proactive and must consistently demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
- Required to interact effectively and efficiently with all levels of employees
**Pre-Requisite**
- Based in New South Wales, Australia
- Full-Time Status
- Australian Citizen
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
