
Head of Incident, Breaches

The Star is growing as part of our transformation and renewal strategy. To support this crucial function, we are seeking a highly ethical Head of Incident, Breaches, and Whistleblower Governance to join our Risk and Compliance Team.
Reporting to the General Manager Compliance, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end management of The Star’s breach reporting processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the Breach and Incident management policy, standard and procedures
- Ensures The Star’s framework aligns to best practice
- Manage & supervise the framework to achieve compliance with The Star’s principal regulator and other compliance risk exposures
- Leading a team of compliance professionals responsible for management of breaches across the business
- Owning the Whistleblower framework including setting up mechanisms to enable individual matters to be escalated accurately where required
- Provide support to the Compliance teams and Chief Legal Officer as required

**What are we looking for?**
- Proven experience in a legal or compliance role
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and manage breach processes
- Solid understanding of Whistleblower processes is highly desirable
- Relevant experience working with Regulators, ideally from Casino or Gaming industry preferred but not essential
- Accreditation with the Australasian Compliance Institute
