THE ROLE
CSR have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager (Gyprock/Plasterboard) to provide leadership and support to our team in Coopers Plains, Queensland.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage all aspects of engineering, maintenance, continuous improvement, and capital projects for Interior Systems - Gyprock/ Plasterboard factory on our 24 hour/5 days a week site.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Championing Safety and Well-being**: Passionate about creating a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment for all team members.
**Inspiring Growth and Efficiency**: Leading the Maintenance team to ensure the effective operation of the site, maximising efficiency while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
**Empowering Collaboration**: Provide Leadership in both daily and long-term operation of the business. Leading the team to drive improvement initiatives, training programmes, quantify benefits and track performance.
**Clear Vision and Direction**: Providing technical leadership that guides the plant towards achieving strategic objectives.
**Innovating for Sustainability**: Utilising Lean Manufacturing Principles to enhance plant reliability, product quality, and streamline processes.
To be successful for the role, you will have either an Engineering or trade background (Mechanical, Electrical) or worked in a similar position with experience in a manufacturing site. You will have excellent Leadership and People Management skills.
