Our client is one of Australia's leading Telecommunications organisation, and they are looking for a **Procurement Specialist **to join their procurement team for an initial 3 months engagement (with possible extensions).

**About the role**

**Responsibilities**
- Support the development and execution of category strategies
- Conduct supplier negotiations through relationship development and management
- Onboard suppliers that contributes toward procurement outcomes
- Manage sourcing transactions

**Skills and experience**
- Previous procurement sourcing experience
- Experience working in **design, construction and/or telecommunications **industry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
- Ariba experience preferred
