**About the Opportunity**
We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate sales professional for a minimum 12-month fixed term contract opportunity with the high possibility of a permanent position becoming available within the 12 month period.
This role directly contributes to the success of our business by driving revenue growth, building strong relationships, providing technical consultations, specifications and quotes from contract negotiation to completion seamlessly. You will do this by, identifying and developing new architectural leads by reviewing industry databases of up-coming construction projects such as residential, commercial or schools and actively contacting the project architects and building designers with a focus on getting our products specified.
Key responsibilities include:
- build strong relationships with prospect decision makers
- carry out selling activities, effectively managing time and resources to ensure focus on high pay-off activities that deliver on KPIs
- tracking and managing the sales pipeline including lead generation, prospecting, qualification and follow-up to ensure consistent progress and timely closure of opportunities
- achieve set targets and adhere to key performance indicators
- general administration using MS Office and our CRM database
**About You**
We’re looking to leverage your sales and/or customer service experience preferably within the building industry, along with a keenness to learn our products and a passion for sales.
- a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service to achieve sales growth
- confidence to prospect and carry out lead generation activities including cold calling, networking and leveraging referrals
- excellent interpersonal & communication skills, a strong work ethic
- ability to quickly gain competency with our CRM to manage leads, track sales activities and analyse data to manage the sales pipeline efficiently
- experience selling in custom made-to-order environments is desirable
**About the Benefits**

Once you’ve completed your six month probation and confidently working independently, you will have the ability to work from home two days per week.
