Australian National Lifestyle Assist (ANLA) is a national private consultancy operating out Brisbane with clients all around Southeast Queensland, including but not limited to Brisbane's North, South and Western suburbs, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast as well as Ipswich and Toowoomba. **About the role**

Currently, Australian National Lifestyle Assist has an exciting opportunity for a **Specialist Support Coordinator** to join the team on a **full-time, permanent **basis. The position forms an integral part of ANLA's multidisciplinary professional services team which consists of a group of allied health professionals and participants managers providing clinical and service management to care providers and participants registered with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The Support Coordinator role is responsible for delivering high-quality support coordination to participants with a disability while utilising a specialist approach and supporting participants with high complex needs and/or experiencing high levels of risks to reduce complexity, build capacity and resilience, and assisting to connect with supports

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform Specialist Support Coordination to assist NDIS/Child Protection participants in implementing their plan.
- Coordinate services in participants including the management of complex multi-disciplinary teams.
- Deliver high-quality services promptly including mandatory reporting and meeting company guidelines.
- Provide advice and consultation with participants, their families, and other stakeholders in response to complex and challenging situations.
- Develop action plans with participants, their families, and other stakeholders in response to complex and challenging situations.
- Provide support and advice to other support coordinators regarding support coordination delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a Bachelor degree (or higher) in Psychology, Health Science, Behavioural Science, Education, or another related field.
- At least 3 years' experience working in Disability, Child Protection, or within a positive behavioural framework.
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively and constructively with participants, their families, service providers and representatives of government agencies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation, policy and practice in areas including disability care, forensic disability, child protection, aged care, youth justice and/or health care.
- Demonstrated high-level computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office and the ability to use alternate between different systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced organisation while completing high-level reports in a timely manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment as well as autonomously and take ownership of a caseload of participants
- A valid Australian driver's license.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain.
