This role works closely with the Voluntary Home Buy Back Program team which is responsible for supporting the Commonwealth and Queensland Government's Resilient Homes Fund under Category D of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).In this role you will:

- Work with the General Manager, leadership and project teams to ensure that effective engagement and communication is maintained between QRA and its key internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver timely media management, develop media materials and other communications that convey QRA's position with clarity and impact.
- Manage proactive media opportunities such as key announcements, milestones, achievements and case studies including coordination between QRA, DEPW and the Australian Government and relevant councils as applicable.
- Collate information to brief the CEO and executive team in preparation for stakeholder engagement, ensuring emerging issues are identified.
- Draft and deliver accurate, insightful and polished written communications, ensuring that it includes the appropriate analysis of issues and understanding of Government priorities.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, approaching engagement and communication from a perspective of enriching these relationships.
- Provide feedback and advice to the General Manager in relation to any emerging trends or issues of concern with potential to impact QRA.
- Undertake related communication work, project, editing and other duties of equivalent complexity as required.
- Participate in a team roster to support QRA management and during disaster season, support out of hours and on call requests as required.
