**Overview**:
Our client is a leading Energy Retail organisation. Reporting to the Portfolio Leader, the primary purpose of the role is to be the champion in the team
to maximise non-commodity sales and leads at the C&I level. You are an expert in non-commodity products and in how to identify opportunities and create the urgency amongst customers. You will support the Client Relationship Executive in selling non-commodity products through partnering on customer calls, direct engagement with customers and upskilling and educating the CREs. You will
leverage you’re analytical skills to identify campaigns for non-commodity products and see these campaigns through to execution, this includes insight based workflow analysis, sales skills training, partnering on calls or direct selling yourself.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Support the team of account managers by setting objectives, coaching and developing, creating an environment that drives
high performance, and managing performance towards sales targets for non-commodity products.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans with the other Product Development Specialists to fill these
gaps.
- Set the tone on what best practice account management looks like by championing the sales process and its adoption.
- Prioritise workloads and develop plans for executing on the team non-commodity targets.
**Required experience and skills**:
- Preferred tertiary qualified (e.g. marketing or business) or
appropriate industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years in similar business development roles, ideally
within the energy services sector (Solar, PFC, Demand Response,
Storage or any other Energy Solutions)
- Experience with developing, supporting sales teams
- Direct sales experience
- Experience in the commercial energy solutions space Including:
Solar, flexibility services, Storage and Electric Vehicle desirable but not essential
