Do IT with Spirit **Description**: A little about the role... As Spirit’s Solutions Specialist you will play an integral part of our fast-growing national Professional Services team. You will be reporting to the Head of Professional Services and work alongside a team of established IT professionals delivering projects to our new and existing customers with Spirit products and solutions. **Key Responsibilities will include**: - Drive and complete cloud and infrastructure projects across multiple technologies with a particular focus on the Spirit Modern Workplace (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, security, Windows Servers, high availability and disaster recovery) - Keep up to date with the latest products, services and emerging technologies at Spirit - Assist other Spirit engineers and service delivery teams with support, guidance, and recommendations when it’s requested - Provide assistance to pre-sales and solutions team around Infrastructure Designs - Complete project documentation ready for handover; including detailed designs and SoW (Scope of Works) which consists of phases, tasks and durations - Solution planning, pricing & effort estimation and bill of materials - Ensuring that all ICT considerations have been structured and documented to support the implementation and delivery of the project - Liaise with other Architects, SMEs, Operations team and vendors to ensure the appropriate architecture, strategy, and plans are in place to close out projects and implementations successfully - Provide assistance working on RFP/RFQ/ RFI responses along with assisting the sales team in pre-sales - Set and continually manage project expectations with stakeholders - Auditing and onboarding new clients when required to do so - Prepare appropriate quotes for client work /deliverables **Skills and Experiences**: **Key Skills and Experience**: - Sound experience in Microsoft 365 Public Cloud: - Microsoft 365 including Azure Active Directory, Intune/Endpoint Management, SharePoint, Microsoft Defender Suite - Microsoft Azure including networking, compute, Windows Virtual Desktop - Previous work experience in a Managed Service Provider company is preferred - Certifications (Microsoft/ITIL) highly regarded - Windows Server; Active Directory, DNS, DFS - Virtualisation technologies (VMware/HyperV) - Microsoft Remote Desktop and other VDI technologies - Scripting and Automation - Network design and implementation including switching, VLAN, and WAN solutions - Advantageous experience with Sophos, Watchguard or Cisco Meraki - Design and implement backup and DR solutions - Experience providing Senior / Proactive IT advice - Experience in migration tools such as BitTitan, AvePoint, Mover, SharePoint Migration Tool and Experience in IT tools such as Autotask & IT Glue What's in it for you - "Me Day" - an additional day of leave for some "Me Time". - Employee Wellness Fund - a fund just for you. - Join a company with emphasis on continuous career and personal development.
