**About the role**- Monitoring the business unit in accordance with the WorkSafe Internal Controls Framework (ICF) and Schedule B contract requirements. Providing regular and ad hoc reporting in accordance with WorkSafe and business unit requirements and assisting the Vic WC management team as required.- Analysing business unit claims and policy practices to optimise business unit performance and service outcomes.- Undertaking research to improve quality results, through analysis of issues, errors, and compliance incidents, and develop recommendations for resolution or other areas of development and implement agreed solution.- Ensuring management and staff to have appropriate access to information and tools to facilitate efficient management processes and business decision making through development and consultation with business SME s.
**About you**- Experience with managing statutory claims and exposure to the Victorian Workers Compensation Scheme- Demonstrated technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls with proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, willingness to learn, and a desire to step up or lead the team as needed.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, influence, and the ability to lead and grow with the team.
