**About the role**
This assignment will suit an experienced Executive Officer who can lead and work well with a team.

Key duties in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Lead and manage the Office of the Executive Director team
- Manage and contribute to business planning and corporate reporting
- Good knowledge of the current government policies
- Support the ED and leadership team in managing emergent and sensitive topics and opportunities
- Provide quality assurance of correspondence (MECS, training will be provided)
- Great precision in managing, monitoring, and reporting business performance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and can effectively liaise with staff within and across divisions
- A proactive and supportive contributor to a cohesive team environment

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

- A committed team leader and role model
- Strong ability to prioritise workload and work towards complex and conflicting deadlines
- Confident to professionally handle situations with diplomacy and composure
- Can effectively handle pressure with a high drive to provide excellent service and results
- Trustworthy to provide high-level confidential support to the ED
