Workfast are currently looking for Mechanical Fitters to commence asap in the Newcastle area.

**_What you will be doing -_**
- Mechanical fitting duties within a site-based environment
- Servicing and maintaining all onsite machinery
- Opportunities to work on projects multiple projects
- Supporting site teams with their project based requirements
- Working alongside other trades
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialised equipment related to locomotives and mining equipment.

**_What you need -_**
- Must have Certificate III in Engineering (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Hold a white card (preferred)
- Knowledge on fault finding
- Have own tools (preferred)
- Be a team player but have the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings

**_What you get -_**
- $50 per hour + meal + travel
- Starting asap
- Monday to Friday, with potential for some weekend work
