UGL's maintenance business based at our operation in Broadmeadow, Newcastle NSW and we are looking for
**Mechanical Fitters** to join the team.
- These roles will be offered on a permanent full-time basis paid under UGLs Newcastle Operations Enterprise Agreement working on a 9 day fortnight with every second Friday off, hours are Monday - Thursday 5.30am - 2.30pm and the Friday you do work is 5.00am - 1.30pm.

**About the role**
- Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager this role will see you working on Mining and industrial component overhaul, Working on Wheel motors, Front wheel groups and final drive systems.

**About You**
- Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency - Mechanical fitter
- Previous experience on Off Highway Vehicle components along with auxiliary equipment or similar
- Excellent fault finding experience
- Experience using micrometres - precision measuring
- No afraid to get your hands dirty
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable & punctual.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and practices.
- Ability to interpret schematics and production drawings.
- Work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Focused on quality work & customer service excellence.
- Forklift license is desirable but not a necessity.
- Work cover overhead crane licence desirable but not a necessity.
- Dogging/Intermediate rigger desirable
- OEM experience with Komatsu/Hitachi/CAT components will be looked at favourbly
- Overtime available
