Our client has rapidly become a market leader within their niche area of expertise. Offering international forwarding services to the fast paced perishables industry, they manage the full export Seafreight process for perishable and general cargo within a time sensitive, client focused market.
- Due to ongoing growth and success, an opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced Export Sea Freight Officer. Reporting to the Branch Manager, and working within an experienced team, your duties will include:
- Receiving/confirming bookings from shippers in a timely manner
- Booking shipments with carriers and issuing booking confirmations direct to the customer
- Full registration of shipments and Invoicing using Cargowise/Enterprise
- Arranging transport of containers
- Lodging EDN's / PRA's
- Generating Export permits and all other relevant DAWR documentation for containers to be cleared for export
- Sending Forwarding Instructions
- Distributing final documentation packs
- Liaising with shipping lines, warehouse staff and transport companies

- To be considered for this position applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Recent export sea freight experience gained specifically within the international forwarding industry
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
- Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience coordinating the exportation of perishable cargo and those with working knowledge of Cargowise.
