Export Sea Customer Service

The Opportunity

Every day looks a little different in exports, and that’s the best part. This role gives you the chance to work across a diverse range of export commodities, where you’ll quickly broaden your knowledge of the industry. You’ll be building solid relationships with carriers, agents, and suppliers, becoming a key point of contact in a fast-moving export network. You'll be backed by a knowledgeable and approachable team who are always willing to share what they know. With ongoing training and on-the-job learning, this is a role where you can sharpen your skills, gain valuable experience, and take real steps forward in your logistics career.

Your Role

Your average day will include the following:

- Coordinate the entire end to end Export Seafreight process

- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, transport and warehousing providers and overseas agencies

- Liaising with operational teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments, ensuring any service issues are actioned and resolved

- Accurate invoice generation

- Database management and administration

- End to end management of export documentation

- Raising RFP’s and liaising with DAWR to clear shipments

What are we looking for?

Our Successful Candidate Will Have:

- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics Operations with experience in the Export Seafreight sector preferred

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Tertiary Qualification in Supply Chain or International Trade

- Cargowise experience will be highly regarded
