**About the role**

As a **Specialist - Operations Due Diligence**, you will assist the Operations Due Diligence team with overseeing Australian Retirement Trust’s Investment Operational Due Diligence policy and review program which includes performing internal and external reviews. You will help identify potential opportunities to enhance the policy, as well as assist with special projects within Investment Operations and Performance.

Day to day, you'll:

- Conduct and prepare due diligence reports in accordance with Australian Retirement Trust’s policies. This will include coordinating onsite visits with investment managers as required.
- Proactively identify and manage any potential operational risk to Australian Retirement Trust. This will include working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders on risk assessments and mitigation processes.
- Manage relationships with consultants engaged to undertake Operational Due Diligence reviews for Australian Retirement Trust.
- Assist with coordinating the annual review program, highlighting investment managers requiring reviews each year and timing of the reviews. This will include coordinating and overseeing the sign off process on both internally and externally prepared consultant due diligence reports.
- Assist with coordinating and oversee any external reviews, ensuring completion within the required timeframe. This will include reviewing and challenging consultants’ due diligence reports and findings ensuring they meet Australian Retirement Trust’s policies.

- Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or similar degree.
- Strong experience, ideally in funds management or consulting organisations with direct experience in the majority of functions covered by the role.
- Innovative thinker with strong analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
