**About the team**

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Employer Enforcement team which is responsible for conducting compliance and enforcement assessments of alleged legislative non-compliance from employers in the Workers Compensation and insurance scheme and, where necessary, enforces relevant legislation to ensure compliance.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Support the successful delivery of a range of projects, initiatives and ongoing responsibilities that support the operation of the team and achievement of key employer supervision and compliance outcomes.
- Research and collate information from a range of internal and external sources, identifying emerging risks and trends to support decision making and achieve business outcomes.
- Identify instances of non-compliance and gather and provide information and/or evidence for escalation and/or referral to the relevant team to support compliance activities.
- Provide high quality and timely customer service and advice on the workers compensation scheme.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures and identifying efficiencies of work practices.

- Ability to provide advice and assistance to NSW employers on their legislative obligations.
