**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rostering Officer to join our Home Care Team.
This role will be responsible to:
- Coordinate the roster for Home Care Packages and Domestic Assistance daily.
- Ensure all shifts are filled with the right staff to meet the consumers’ needs and, where possible, their preferences.
**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Maintain up-to-date records about rostering and staff in IT systems as directed.
- Maintain accurate and current information about consumers’ requirements and preferences.
- Liaise with home care advisors and consumers regarding service requirements.
- Liaise with staff regarding shifts and availability.
- Receive and manage requests for change from staff or consumers.
- Enter roster data into the IT system as directed.
- Prepare fortnightly rosters.
- Undertake day to day management of consumer visit lists/staff timesheets
- Assist with Home Care administrative tasks.
- On call duty on weekdays and weekends.

**Essential**:
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Both Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Experience in roster management in an aged care/health or related setting
- Experience in, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge and skills to undertake, staff related administrative duties such as approving timesheets and processing leave requests
- Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to show attention to detail, to prioritise work and to problem solve.
- Strong administrative skills and competency using Microsoft and roster/HR management software
- Australian Citizenship / Permanent Residency
- National Police Clearance.
- Up to dated COVD-19 vaccination.
**Desirable**:
- Experience in payroll and ability to interpret an Enterprise Agreement
- Experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse populations.
