**About the Opportunity**

Reporting into the Finance Business Partner, this role is ideal for accounting and/or finance professionals (e.g., management accountant) looking to diversify their operational and commercial experience within a dynamic environment. This role offers valuable opportunities to be involved in products essential to the everyday lives of Victorians.

With a hands-on approach, you will be engaged in a variety of financial and non-financial deliverables supporting decision making and business planning.

Develop and maintain strong business relationships whilst acting as a trusted Advisor across the following activities:
- Reporting and analysis: Prepare management reports, including variance commentaries and any ad-hoc analysis as required by the business.- Financial management and control: Process month end transactions within specified timelines, ensuring compliance to accounting standards and audit requirements.- Forward planning: Assist in the preparation of annual budget and monthly rolling forecast, supporting product and operational teams in delivering business objectives.- Continuous improvement: Proactively review and streamline processes to ensure they remain efficient, accurate and in compliance to business requirements.

**What you’ll need to be successful**- Strong Excel technical knowledge and experience working with complex data from multiple sources- Experience using ERP- TM1 experience highly regarded- Strong team player- High attention to detail- Effective written and verbal communication skills- Ability to adapt to emerging challenges within a fast-paced environment- Tertiary qualifications in the field of business, accounting and/or economics- Part qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant
