**About the Opportunity**

As Business Advisor, reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner you will be responsible for supporting the provision of finance services to designated customer groups (business divisions and departments) including decision support, planning, reporting, and accounting.

This role will touch all areas of the business rather than just one department, providing you opportunity to gain exposure and be involved in exciting projects.

You will focus on ensuring integrity of the general ledger and delivery of accurate, timely and relevant performance management information, financial advice, and customer service.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Develop and maintain strong business relationships and act as trusted finance advisor to the cost centre manager stakeholders for all transactional activity
- Support business simplification initiatives and provide support for project management, particularly financial management.
- Co-ordinating and preparing the annual Business Planning and rolling forecasts.
- Support monthly LT and other reporting and ensure completion is on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor financial performance by proactively comparing financial activity against budget and providing accurate financial performance information and forecast of

expected outcomes.
- Manage end-of-month and year end financial processes in accord with Group timetables and accounting.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- SAP & TM1 system experience
- Tertiary qualifications in fields of business, accounting and/or economics
- Part qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant
- Experience of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting preferred
- Strong team player
- Communication: listening, oral, written
- Previous experience in finance or accounting role
- Commercial Acumen
- Relationship management
