Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.

Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

Sitting within the Investment Analytics, this newly created role will be supporting the delivery of Performance, Attribution and Analytics within Perpetual’s Asset Management businesses.

About the role

The Investment Analytics team cover a variety of asset classes including Equity, Fixed Income & Credit, and Multi-Asset.- The Performance function elements that this role would be responsible for delivering include:
- Daily, monthly and, ad-hoc Performance and Attribution measurement to Investment and Distribution Teams, and for Investment Oversight.- Reconciliation of Attribution to Portfolio Performance- Highlight and resolve issues with security Analytics and Attribution results and ensure appropriate steps are taken for an optimal solution- Building dashboards and reporting formats to meet the above objectives.- Providing relevant insights on the drivers of return with Perpetual’s portfolios.

About you- Undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or Data Analytics related fields- Post Graduate qualifications (Dip / Master / CFA / CIPM etc.) highly regarded- At least 1 year experience in funds management, superannuation, or banking preferably in an Investment Performance or Investment Operations role- Previous experience in Equity Attribution is highly valued- Excellent analytical, problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking skills essential- Sound organisational and time management skills, with a proven ability to set and work to priorities and deadlines- Highly articulate in written and verbal communication- Appetite to help build and develop in a rapidly growing business- Understanding of commonly used Fixed Interest and/or Multi Asset instruments- Some understanding of Performance methodologies- Systems - strong experience using Excel, Word and PowerPoint- Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, VBA highly regarded- Experience using FactSet highly regarded
