**The Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Sustainability/ESG Analyst to join our Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about driving positive change through sustainable investment research. You will assess the ESG approaches of domestic and global investment managers across asset classes. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping ESG integration and analysis, contributing to a future where responsible investing drives better outcomes for people and the planet.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough analysis of ESG policies and reporting of investment managers across funds and investment managers.
- Collaborate and assist with the research team’s integration of ESG assessment at the product level.
- Assess specific ESG, sustainability, ethical and green claims made by investment products to assess alignment risk.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring emerging ESG trends, sustainability frameworks, and regulatory developments.
- Support the preparation of insightful research reports, ESG ratings, and presentations.
- Engage with colleagues and stakeholders to develop client-facing materials and respond to ESG-related inquiries.

**About You**:
You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional with a natural curiosity and a commitment to sustainability. You thrive in a team environment where collaboration and innovation are highly valued.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A degree, preferably in finance, economics, environmental science, sustainability or a related discipline, however broader educational academic backgrounds will be considered.
- Analytical acumen with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to share insights and ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous learning.Prior experience or internships in ESG, sustainability, or investment research is advantageous but not essential.
