- As a senior clinician, this position requires the successful applicant to provide key clinical services and leadership in the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. This role involves the provision of exemplary Social Work service, supervision and education of student and junior Social Workers and will be a leading member of our supportive team. The Social Work team consists of over 45 staff members who work across the City and Royal Park Campuses in acute, sub-acute and community based services across a range of specialties. This position has a leading role in ensuring excellence in patient care, implementation and organisation of clinical and professional teams and fostering staff development.
- As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.

**Your new role**:

- Provide advanced social work service across the rehabilitation team including stroke and amputee rehab, and NDIS pathways, including assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients in the sub-acute hospital.
- Foster positive team and workplace culture as a senior Social Worker.
- Assist in the review and implementation of social work service development, policies, procedures in line with Social Work standards and strategic directions for the service, team and The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
- You will be well supported by Social Work Clinical Lead (Grade 4), Social Work Manager, Senior Social Work colleagues and the Social Work team.

- You are looking to demonstrate your advanced social work skills and work with world leaders in sub-acute rehabilitation, learning and research.
- You demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills.
