Our client based in East Perth is currently seeking a driven and experienced Financial Analyst.

**Your new company**
Our client requires a Financial Analyst to join their busy team for a period of initially 6 months with the possibility to extend. The position is looking for an immediate start within the next two weeks.

**Your new role**
As a Financial Analyst your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing month end journals
- Preparing monthly high level and cost centre level financial reports
- Preparing various reports to site managers for monitoring budget and spend
- Analysing and preparing full year projections for relevant divisions
- Review transactions, identify asset purchase and complete asset addition forms
- Review transactions for non-compliance purchases in accordance with purchasing policy
- Prepare other transactional analysis and duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
Your previous experience in a similar role will be essential, as will:

- University degree within a relevant discipline
- Extensive financial accounting experience
- State government experience is desirable
- Extensive transactional accounting skills
- Strong reporting and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of current accounting standards
