Events & Operations Manager For Drinks Catering & Event Company

**About us**:
Liquid Infusion is a highly reputable and multi award winning beverage catering company and we are growing fast.

As the pioneers and leaders in this relatively new industry we provide a wide range of beverage catering solutions including Fresh Juice and Smoothie Bars, Pop Up Café Catering and of course our renowned Cocktail Catering service for all event types within Victoria and across Australia.

We have also recently acquired a large function venue in St Kilda known as Ellora at 1 Fitzroy st St Kilda which we now manage

You will be joining the events and office team

**The role**:
As the Events and operations Manager you will be responsible for (but limited to):

- Event planning including liaising with clients, logístically planning and accurate record keeping
- Coordinating between all departments (Warehouse / Sales / Senior management / Clients)
- Staff management including obtaining availability and rostering
- Assisting with payroll
- Ad hoc administrative tasks including managing the office supplies
- Generating quotations for inbound sales and upselling to existing clients

**About you**:

- Excellent written and verbal skills are a must
- Highly flexible and capable to manage multiple tasks at the same time with outstanding time management skills
- Have strong attention to detail and be able to work in line with the set company policies and operating methods
- Must be friendly and outgoing to fit in with the fun and quirky nature of the business
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a lively environment
- Proficient problem solver
- Competent in the Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning event management software
- Tertiary qualifications in business,events or hospitality are preferred but not essential
- Experience in hospitality / events / catering / hotels is preferred

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to troubleshoot last minute staffing or logístical queries on the weekend (mainly Saturdays) as required. Flexibility to manage events from time to time will also be required. Due to our location in Moorabbin having access to your own vehicle is prefered and parking is available onsite.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
