**ABOUT OUR CLIENT**

Our client is one of Melbourne’s fastest growing labour hire companies.

Based in the South Eastern Suburbs, they provide labour hire, traffic control, steel fixing, carpentry & construction services to a broad range of clients all over Melbourne.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Due to extended growth within the business, they are now looking for a driven and talented Operations Manager to run the steel fixing & basement division. Ultimately, you will ensure the efficiency, profitability and success of the business unit.

**KEY RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Scope & quote jobs;
- Manage of all staff, materials, plant and other resources including rostering of staff across jobs and projects;
- Oversee execution, standard and quality of work;
- Manage relationships with clients and working with the sales team to grow the client base;
- Work with internal recruitment, sales, OHS, admin & accounts team to ensure they are thoroughly supporting the steel division and meeting set expectations.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Possess a at least 2 years relevant management experience, preferably as a project manager or foreman, overseeing basement builds/steel fixing operations;
- Construction knowledge with a thorough understanding of all aspects of steel fixing and basement construction is essential;
- Robust experience in scoping/pricing jobs and completing jobs whilst maintaining profit margins;
- Be able to manage job flow and confidently handle any setbacks without compromising client relationships;
- Are able to follow and implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency;
- Possess excellent communication, problem solving and leadership skills.
