The successful applicant will provide hands on support to the HR team and our 29 sites across a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, recuitment, HRIS administration and compliance. **A day in the life of**: - Talent aquisition for our large casual workforce - Drive Careers Nights, University Career Fairs, Graduate Recruitment - End to end recruitment processes - Ensuring culture alignment and value contribution for new recuits - Managing the employee Onboarding process and experience - Employee exit process. Notifying payroll, HRIS admin, access removal, equipment return & scheduling exit interviews. - Creating new position descriptions when needed & continually reviewing the PD’s to ensure they are accurate and up to date. - Support HR team as needed - Assist with the co-ordination of annual employee engagement surveys and any pulse surveys relating to engagement throughout the year - Provide support in HR & organisation-wide initiatives - Provide confidential advice on a broad range of HR matters relating to company policies & procedures, terms & conditions of employment and employee perks. - Support line managers in employee relations matters under the guidance of the People & Culture Manager - Consolidate HR metric reports & assist with monthly reporting - Coordinating social/ team building events - Embedding our purpose, truths and culture throughout the company **What you need to succeed**: The right culture fit for our company and people is the most important attribute, along with the following skills: - Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/ Employment Relations (desirable) - Have the ability to build rapport with a variety of people in a variety of different roles and work closely with key internal and external stakeholders - Have a people centric focus - Highly developed organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and capable of prioritising workload to meet deadlines - Have the ability to work with a small team and work autonomously - Be a lateral thinker who shows initiative and can think outside the square - Be extremely confidential and respect sensitive information - Have the ability to learn new programs and new processes quickly and "hit the ground running" **What are the perks?** Our company culture thrives on a positive team environment and the focus on every role contributing to high performance outcomes.
