**FP&A Analyst (Hybrid) - Melbourne | Grow Your Career with Purpose**

Are you a finance professional ready to take the next step in your FP&A journey? We’re looking for a proactive and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our high-performing Finance team based in Melbourne. This hybrid role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their commercial impact and gain exposure across an APAC-wide business.

You’ll support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, while partnering with business leaders to help drive smarter, data-led decision-making.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a key member of the APAC FP&A team, you’ll support the Senior FP&A Manager and Finance Director with:
**Financial Reporting & Analysis**
- Delivering monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including P&L reviews, variance analysis, and financial commentary
- Monitoring headcount, staff costs, capex, and departmental spend
- Supporting flash reporting and risk/opportunity assessments for forecasts
- Tracking and analysing key KPIs across the business

**Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning**
- Coordinating budgets and forecasts for operating expenses and headcount
- Updating financial models in Anaplan and preparing reports and presentations
- Working closely with department heads to ensure budget accountability and financial discipline

**Business Partnering**
- Building trusted relationships with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and other departments
- Providing clear, actionable insights on performance and trends
- Supporting business cases, marketing ROI analysis, and customer lifetime value assessments
- Contributing to strategic planning and investment decision support

**Process Improvement & Data Management**
- Streamlining and automating reporting and analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Anaplan
- Maintaining accurate financial data across systems and ensuring version control
- Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance financial processes and insights

**What You’ll Bring**
- Degree-qualified in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Anaplan, Tableau, HFM or NetSuite is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to see the bigger picture
- Confident communicator who can work independently and collaboratively
- Curious, analytical, and always looking to improve how things are done
