**About the Role**

Based in our Brisbane office, the Operations Planning Team Leader is accountable for the 120-day production outlook and the planning of isolations & permits for associated activities for Cooper and GLNG Upstream. As part of the ‘scope-plan-execute’ model, this role ensures the operational readiness prior to execution.

The role requires leadership and supervision of the permit coordinators and production planners to deliver support to the field-based operations team to improve safety and production. The role is a critical interface for Commercial operations, functional Production Planning & Allocation, field-based Operations, Maintenance, Development and D&C teams.

Accountabilities are delivered in line with the Santos company values and Santos Management System (SMS). Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Deliver an optimised production outlook within the 120-day window aligned with the integrated schedule and activity plan.
- Monitor and report on performance against the production plan within the 120-day window.
- Enabling field-based teams to deliver isolation certificates for all scheduled work in the 120-day integrated schedule including brownfields projects.
- Building and maintaining a standardised library of permit documentation that is stored on the electronic permit portal (eSWPP)
- Standardising processes within Cooper and GLNG Upstream operations to minimise variance in permitting.
- Facilitating and enabling implementation of changes to the Santos Work Permit Procedure.
- Maintain close working relationships and a high level of communication with Commercial operations, functional Production Planning & Allocation, field-based Operations, Maintenance, Development and D&C teams to achieve production and maintenance goals.
- Continuous improvement of operational tasks such as permitting, purging, isolations and OEC.
- Compliance with Operations Excellence (OE) standards.
- Use of Santos systems including eSWPP, IRR, myPlant, SAP, EHS Toolbox, Success Factors and Discover.
- Compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS).
- Compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).
- Compliance with the Santos Corporate Governance and Safety requirements.

**About You**

We are seeking for professionals with experience in:

- Production operations or maintenance background
- Strong interpersonal, communication, team, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with site-based operations personnel, engineering, and management.
- Demonstrated substantial experience within the oil and gas industry.

Essential qualifications required for this position are:

- Competent in the use of IRR, SAP, Success Factors, Discover, myPlant, EHS Toolbox, Enable
- Proficient word processing skills utilising the MS Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
